Throughout the election campaign, Trump, his ally Elon Musk, and the campaign echoed false messages, from spreading AI-generated images (such as Taylor Swift fans supporting Trump or opponent Kamala Harris in communist uniform), to baseless claims that the Harris campaign was the one spreading AI images.
